Korey McMahon, Principal

Prior to earning a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University, Korey competed as a professional freestyle snowboarder. In 2003, he was ranked #2 in the nation by the United States of America Snowboard Association.

That winning drive that propelled him as an athlete has served Korey well in the competitive world of marketing, too.

After his retirement from competitive snowboarding, Korey worked with the $4 billion marketing mogul, Mountain Dew, and executed Guerilla Marketing Campaigns. His successful implementation of marketing campaigns earned him awards and recognition including more than two million YouTube views and placement as one of the Top 10 Dew Galleries in the nation.

In 2009, Korey moved to Norman with his wife, a native Normanite and University of Oklahoma graduate. Korey used his business development and technology-based marketing skills to grow a local marketing agency, doubling the number of clients they served in just one year and doubling the size of staff. The formation of McMahon Marketing LLC was the next logical step for someone driven to excel in his profession.

In his spare time, Korey volunteers at St. Thomas More University Parish, leading study groups. He’s active in a community kickball league and participates in events such as the Norman Christmas Parade. Korey is in the 2011-2012 Leadership Norman Class and has been selected as a 2012 NEXT Under 40 Young Professional.
